The Wonders of White Bedroom Furniture
White bedroom furniture is an ideal choice for the bedroom. The white finish will reflect the maximum amount of light around the room, lifting the room and making it appear larger. We all know that white is a colour of tranquility and purity, and appears to be good for the soul. It can lift spirits and convey a sense of serenity. Quite an incredible benefit just from a colour of furniture! Bedrooms decorated in white make a room look clean and tidy. White is easy on the eye and unimposing. Brightly coloured walls and furniture can act as a distraction, whilst white bedroom furniture and walls convey a sense of calm and settle the mind ready for sleep.
Whether you are looking to achieve your own soothing haven or you like the look of white bedroom furniture and want to inject some bold colours into the room, you have the option to do both with white furniture and you can change your theme with ease. White bedroom furniture acts as a blank canvas, allowing you to introduce different colours and textures in your accessories, which can be changed from season to season, projecting a different look and feel to your room. You can add light greens and limes or yellows for the spring for a fresh, clean look, and alternate with burnt oranges and chocolate colours during the autumn to bring some depth and warmth to the bedroom. White bedroom furniture allows for this degree of flexibility as it complements all colours.
White furniture is relatively inexpensive to buy and you can easily give it a distressed look when you finally want to change the look of your bedroom, and you can even paint the furniture at a later date, rubbing some of the colour off to reveal the white undercoat and achieving a shabby chic look. Try painting in light blues and greens to project a French farmhouse look.
White rooms are bang on trend. They can be easily achieved and provide a clean, light airy feel to any room, and as the look is not too intrusive, you won’t tire of it easily. White dining furniture is becoming more popular and portrays a more casual, relaxing feel to the room as opposed to the traditional darker dining room furniture, which can look very formal. You could decorate your rooms in a country farmhouse theme or alternatively, a contemporary style. If you are looking for a contemporary bedroom, I suggest combining white bedroom furniture with shades of grey on the wall, grey and charcoal accessories, and ideally a white tiled floor, or perhaps a polished concrete floor (my personal favourite).
Whatever room you are looking to decorate, I strongly recommend furnishing with white furniture. There are so many benefits from choosing this type of furniture. It is inexpensive, fashionable, flexible and easy to change the look of the room and it is even good for the soul and encourages sleep.
Why wouldn’t you consider this incredible furniture style?
New Take On Chair And Nest of Tables Combination
A chair and, a new take on a n
est of tables, in one. Two tables, or foot rests, and a chair that take up a minimal amount of space. This GVAL chair was designed to convey the idea of the rings of a tree trunk, replicated by the multiple sheets of plywood that constitute the pieces. Modern, abstract and natural looking I love the look of these pieces, as they do over at dornob, especially when the tables are neatly nestled within the chair.

Light, Airy Dining Rooms
It’s all too easy to fall into the trap of making your dining room look and feel too formal. Dark wood furniture can sometimes cause a room to look too formal. The solution? Opt for neutral or pastel shades on the wall and incorporate painted furniture or French style furniture in the room. These light colours will reflect light around the room, making it appear larger. The light colour and soft lines of the furniture will give the room an elegant and more casual look. Click here for more tips.
